about

There's no doubt about the fact that Pop Punk is making a comeback. There are simply too many talented Pop Punk bands on the rise to keep the once dying genre in the shadows any longer. With New Found Glory, Allister, Rufio, Punchline and I Am The Avalanche all making headlines again, and artists like Man Overboard, Transit, Fireworks and The Wonder Years all beginning to grab the spotlight. There's simply no denying the obvious and inevidable fact that we're in the midst of a Pop Punk renaissance.

Fresh off their tour with Punchline, Bright and Early slides into that second category of Pop Punk bands. And by that I mean they're one of the handful of artists that have been critical in resuscitating the once dying genre and bringing the Pop Punk style and flavor back from the edge of extinction. And not only is the genre beginning to peak again, it's clearly better than it's ever been. Just listen to the passionate vocals and clever song writing in 'Stick By Me', or give the undeniably catchy track 'Rule of Three' a listen. It'll bring back fond memories of the glory days of the scene while just beginning to scratch the surface of what the genre could actually achieve this second time around.

Over-produced, hackneyed impersonations of quality artists is what nearly destroyed Pop Punk. Bright and Early is what's going to save it.
