about

‘Introducing Brock Landers’ is a product of several band members bringing together their slightly eclectic stylings and clearly different origins and forming a group that undoubtedly derives some of their material from the likes of Dance Gavin Dance and Hail The Sun. This debut album is everything you’d think you’d get when you combine former members of metal and hardcore acts with individuals that have never performed in an organized group. To put it succinctly, it’s post-hardcore with a gentle touch of progressiveness. More importantly, it’s a start to what will hopefully be an extensive catalog and a continually evolving sound.

For those of you that are still fuzzy on the details of the band and are more visual learners, imagine if Dance Gavin Dance and Hail the Sun pounded a few too many Mai Tais at Chili’s and then stumbled home arm in arm. The spirited one night stand that would ensue would undoubtedly give way to Brock Landers: a raw, instrumentally driven, vocally varying art project that delivers excitement, but promises so much more.
