Stranglehold (Single)

by Future Idiots

about

As a band we’ve clearly drawn our past inspirations from the Blink 182s, Sum 41s and Green Days of the world. I’d say our lyrical content and our musical stylings display that quite clearly. This new song isn’t much different. It’s just a small adjustment and demonstration of what is intended to be a mixture of new influences as well as our natural progression as a band. We’ve tried to take our love of Blink 182 and combine that passion with a little heavier material in what will hopefully be reminiscent of bands like No Use For A Name and Bad Religion.

We’re not trying to recreate a genre here, we’re just taking a sound we love and injecting a bit of spice into an otherwise old but enjoyable flavor known as the Future Idiots.
